Texas employers continue to face talent shortages while learners and workers seek more accessible pathways to quality careers. Apprenticeships and work-based learning offer proven solutions, but implementation varies significantly across regions.
The Texas Apprenticeship Discovery Series will bring together employers, workforce boards, education partners, economic development organizations, intermediaries, and state leaders to identify opportunities for growth and alignment across the state’s workforce ecosystem.
Mapping existing apprenticeship and work-based learning assets
Identifying gaps and barriers to expansion
Surfacing innovative regional practices
Strengthening cross-sector partnerships
Developing actionable recommendations for future investment and implementation
